The work in this series is about sharing: whether that is skills, stories or spaces, the work uses textile to highlight the dedication and creativity embedded within traditionally feminine domestic skills and spaces.

This work was created in collaboration with workshop participants over 6 standalone sessions. Each square is a personal reflection relating to the creator's relationship with or memories of textile. All materials were recycled or second-hand, drawing upon the histories of the materials and leaning into the idea of 'commoning' - sharing resources and bringing together a community.
Who Taught You to Sew? 2025. Wooden room divider with hand and digital embroidery on fabric. Approx 5ft x 4ft
This work is an interactive piece which invites an audience to reflect on their own sewing skills and memories of textile.
Stories Emerge Gently, 2025. Hand-bound books with embroidered covers. 150mm x 210mm.
