Workshops

Teaching and sharing skills are central to my practice. I see workshops as a meaningful way to foster dialogue, creativity, and reflection, creating welcoming spaces where people can exchange ideas, experiment with materials, and explore their own artistic voice.

Whether working with children, adults, or mixed groups, my workshops invite participants to engage with textiles and other mediums in a hands-on, playful way. On top of learning new ways of making or experimentation, I value the conversations, discoveries, and moments of sharing that unfold in these spaces, making each workshop an opportunity for collective learning and making.

Feedback and quotes

"It has been a joy and a privilege to have Bath Spa school of Art and Design students come into school and support our vulnerable young people with developing their own artistic skills and expanding their horizons.

Each session included a variety of mediums and methods that were new and engaging for the pupils, and also taught them fundamental skills linking to their art lessons. The pupils were supported and guided in each task and as a result were able to learn about the possibilities of higher education whilst developing their own independent confidence. They've loved seeing the undergraduate work talked about so passionately and its opened doors of possibility for our pupils.

Claire, Annabel, Elouise, Cloud and Autumn have delivered such exciting and engaging sessions, whilst supporting our young folks to explore their own abilities making something new every week. They've given them the opportunity to try new specialist methods beyond the curriculum whilst showing them that university is an option for them all regardless of circumstance. Every week the children are full of excitement for the sessions, and I am beyond thankful for the experiences they've been able to share with us.

"It was such a pleasure to have the students from Bath Spa facilitate these art sessions. Every time they arrived prepared, full of enthusiasm and with everything they needed. They all proactively engaged with the Young Carers, building ease and rapport with them quickly. Encouraging their creativity and playfulness. I couldn't have planned a session better myself."
